A Croydon based School Trust is urgently seeking an Office Manager. The role pays up to £31 500. Located close to Norwood Junction.

They are seeking to recruit an experienced Office Manager to join their College Site. The jobholder will ensure the smooth running of all administration for the College.

The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, between 8am and 4pm. Term time only.

Duties include:

  • Responsible for the management of the administrative support function.
  • Manage all office personnel matters and office staff admin.
  • Responsibility for all work undertaken by the administrative support staff.
  • Allocation of work to other staff.
  • Help in the appointment of administrative staff.
  • Oversee recruitment, including all pre-employment checks.
  • Training for all new office support staff.
  • Securely store all pupil and payment records.
  • Liaise with Planning and admissions department.
  • Complete the school census each term.
  • Initiate and keep under review, the personal development plans of all staff.
  • Act as confidential secretary to the Headteacher.

The nearest station to the College site is Norwood Junction.
