Hybrid Optional | 37 Hours Per Week | Monday To Friday

Cherry Professional are recruiting for an Office Manager for an outstanding Charity based in the heart of Nottingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an amazing charity who provides an excellent service to the local community.

Job purpose:
Accountable for the smooth running of the central administration function, whilst developing current and new systems, in accordance with the aims and objectives of the charity. The post-holder will work closely with the Senior Management Team

What we are looking for: 

- Strong computer literate skills
- Good understanding of equality issues
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and how these impacts on working practice
- Health and Safety issues knowledge
- Fantastic organisational skills 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in use of Database applications, and producing reports
- Someone who is confident and can juggle multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work on own initiative, proactively solving problems
- Willingness to work flexibly under pressure in a busy environment
- Experience of Quick Books, word processing, spreadsheets

Key responsibilities of an Office Manager:

- To provide administrative support to the Board of Trustees, Chief Executive and Managers as required
- To carry out day to day financial administration duties and petty cash systems, and support bookkeeper
- Supporting the payroll team
- To submit invoices and record on Quick Books financial systems and Excel spreadsheets
- Ensuring health and safety is is maintained 
- Reception supervision 
- To take minutes at meetings as required and observe appropriate confidentiality (no experience necessary)
- Distribute information, as and when required adhering to relevant data protection legislation
- Providing clerical support
- Managing DBS checks and Recruitment for the volunteers
- Ensuring staffing levels are always maintained
- To support with the delivery of training in relation to key areas of health and safety, systems and have oversight of the organisation’s e-learning package, and ensure all staff have completed core training
- In all aspects of work, tasks will be carried out in a way that reflects the ethos of the project, which is open, respectful and committed to equality of opportunity
