Office Manager
Location: Central Cardiff (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Rate: Up to £14 per hour
Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment
A not-for-profit organisation based in the heart of Cardiff is seeking an experienced Office Manager to support their leadership team and wider staff with day-to-day administrative, HR, financial, and governance duties. This is a full-time, office-based position offering a varied and rewarding workload within a values-driven environment.
Purpose of the Role:The Office Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes across the organisation. Working closely with the CEO, Senior Management Team, and Finance Manager, the post-holder will oversee HR functions, office compliance, governance support, and PA duties. The role is supported by a part-time Administrative Officer, with access to external HR and IT expertise as required.
Responsibilities: - Manage HR and recruitment processes, with a focus on absence monitoring, recruitment and onboarding, issuing HR-related documentation, and answering all queries.
- Maintaining up-to-date personnel records.
- Provide high-level PA support to the CEO, including diary and travel management.
- Managing renewals for DBS checks, DSE assessments, and other regulatory requirements
- Organising Board meetings and minute taking.
- Assist the Finance Manager with routine financial tasks such as purchase orders, petty cash, and salary updates.
- Act as the main point of contact for incoming calls and emails.
Requirements: - Previous experience supporting administrative duties.
- Strong understanding of HR and Recruitment.
- Previous experience supporting onboarding and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT Skills.
