The Role
Our client is requiring a mechanical fitter, which will involve working on site and factory based. Installing and maintaining machinery, used and new machinery, aswell as decommissioning of machines.

Will require travelling and staying away from home and extended hours but the company is flexible in return.

The Company
A family run business who specialise in the fitting and maintenance of industrial and packaging machinery. Looking for a new mechanical fitter due to workload and expansion within the company.

The Job Description

There are a range of jobs available at all stages of the job:

• Fitting machinery on site
• Using hand tools
• Fault finding
• Fitting of different parts onto machinery
• Moving machinery
• Liaising with companies when on site
• Travelling to and from roles
• Some electrical work

The Candidate

• Must be time served mechanical fitter / machine fitter.
• 5 Years plus experience
• Some electrical knowledge
• Be able to travel
• Knowledge of machinery
• Read and understand engineering drawings
• Understanding of mechanical principles
• Experience in general machinery
