The Angard Staffing Recruitment Team are the team at the very start of a candidate’s journey to working for The Royal Mail Group! The team will work with a high volume of applications that have applied to work at The Royal Mail Distribution Centres, Mail Centres and Delivery Offices up and down the United Kingdom. The Recruitment Team will ensure that the applicants understand the recruitment process, what is required from the candidate in terms of documentation and finer details of the post the candidate has applied for.

The candidate will be guided through the process by the Recruitment Team and the team will play a point of contact for the candidates and their needs before proceeding the candidate through to the Workforce Planning Team to be deployed into work for their chosen Mail Centre.

IMMEDIATE START

Full time and Fixed Term Contract until December 2024

Pay £23,500

The Role

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be working as part of our candidate onboarding team, supporting candidates whilst they go through clearances and checks before starting work with our clients.

This is a structured and process-driven role, which will involve working to targets and SLAs as per our client agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and issuing offer letters and issuing screening link to begin pre- employment checks
  • Collecting and checking right to work documentation
  • Guiding candidates through screening processes from offer to first employment date
  • Updating multiple internal systems
  • Providing updates to clients and candidates

What we are looking for?

  • An efficient worker with good attention to detail with experience working in a process driven environment
  • Customer focused individual with interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer literate - comfortable with full MS office package and navigating multiple systems
  • Team player who is comfortable working to strict targets and SLAs

Schedule:

  • Day shift (Shift patterns may vary but all shifts start between 8am-9.30am and finish between 4.30pm and 6pm)
  • Monday to Friday
