We have an exciting opportunity for an Online Product Merchandising Assistant to join our team based in Milton Keynes. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary of £29,500.

About the Online Product Merchandising Assistant role:

As our Online Product Merchandising Assistant, youwill be responsible for adding, updating, and maintaining existing products online and ensuring accuracy to ensure the best customer experience.

Key Responsibilities of our Online Product Merchandising Assistant:

  • Being responsible for uploading new products and assets via a Content ManagementSystem and other systems as appropriate including but not limited to the following product information: product copy, product imagery, product attributes, range data, and onsite categorisation.
  • Maintaining new and existing products, including amendments, product code adjustments and discontinuations on the website.
  • Being responsible for new range page set-up and preservation of existing PLP assets and copy.
  • Using pre-agreed processes to ensure consistency and accuracy. All product information should be reviewed and verified prior to upload to ensure accuracy and consistency. Follow through to ensure any corrective actions are applied in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with the Product team to obtain product assets that are in line with our brand guidelines and standards required for launch onsite.
  • Ensuring a high standard is maintained throughout the new product addition process, Undertake stringent QC checks to ensure all product data and assets added to the website are complete, consistent and conform to our high brand guidelines and standards in readiness for launch online.
  • Working closely and positively with the Online Traders, Product Content, Merchandising and eCommerce development teams to ensure a smooth new product addition process and that pre-agreed timings are met.
  • Being responsible for updating a New Product Addition workflow tracker ensuring all deadlines for adding products onsite are met and all stakeholders updated on progress.

Key skills and attributes we are looking for in our Online Product Merchandising Assistant:

  • A passion and interest in eCommerce.
  • A working knowledge of content management systems would be preferable but not essential
  • The ability to multi-task, and maintain focus and accuracy under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Team player with a positive can-do approach, willing to get involved and focused on delivery
  • Enjoys working within a fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate and influence across all levels
  • An organised approach with meticulous attention to detail at all times. Demands high standards from their own work and equally expects high standards from colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a reliable member of the team
