Operational Buyer – Manufacturing

Leicester – 4 days on site, 1 WFH

£25-30k per annum

8.30am to 5.00pm – flexibility with start/finish times

Do you have experience in Buying/Purchasing? Are you comfortable using MS Excel?

A distribution business in Leicester is looking for an Operational Buyer to join their team. You will be one of the main point of contacts for their manufacturing customers and suppliers. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking for a step up into a Buyer position.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Purchase order management
• Managing and maintaining supplier order books
• Chasing overdue orders
• Inventory management and dealing with delivery issues
• Supporting the Senior Buyers with day-to-day activities
• Exposure to sourcing, supplier management and attending supplier meetings

Experience required:

• Experience working within purchasing
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Confidence using MS Excel
