I'm working on a retainer with a fast-growing, mission-led technology scale-up on a bold mission: to transform the circular tech economy and bridge the digital divide in the UK. Following a successful Series A raise, they're now on an ambitious journey to 10x their impact in 3 years and need an Operational Excellence Manager to help build the operational engine that will make that growth possible.

Description
Use data to drive smarter decisions - build dashboards, spot inefficiencies, and improve processes
Boost operational performance - track KPIs, optimise workflows, and lead change across teams and systems
Own quality & compliance - manage QC/QA, prep for certifications, and embed a culture of excellence
Train and lead teams - deliver training, guide change, and build operational capability
Collaborate across functions - work closely with logistics, data, and customer service, reporting into the Head of Ops with high visibility
Profile
5+ years in production/operations/quality roles in ITAD, manufacturing, electronics, or related industries
Strong command of data tools and methods - Excel (including pivot tables), dashboards, relational data
Experience implementing and maintaining ISO and similar standards
Experience in fast-growing or scaling businesses highly desirable
Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills
