Operational Resilience Senior Analyst - About the role
To support the Operational Resilience Manager on all aspects of operational resilience across, including the continuous improvement of the Operational Resilience Framework and associated monitoring.
Operational Resilience Senior Analyst - Key duties
Engage with stakeholders across the Group to ensure important business services / critical or important functions continue to be prioritised and mapped to operational dependencies, identifying risks associated with them.
Maintain records of the people, processes, technology, facilities, and information that support important business services / critical or important functions.
Administer the impact tolerance statements and range of plausible scenarios to stress test impact tolerances and identify areas of improvement. Monitor the tolerances, take appropriate action to rectify issues and report as part of a quarterly KPI pack to the Operations Committee and Operational Resilience Group.
Maintain operational resilience plans and processes, including communication plans. Work with stakeholders to plan exercises such as incident simulation.
Manage incidents through to satisfactory resolution in line with company policy, plans and procedures.
Assist in monitoring industry and technical guidance and ensure the Operational Resilience Policy and procedures reflect the latest guidance.
Provide stakeholder management across the Group on operational resilience matters. Participate in workshops and update process maps to reflect changes to underlying systems which could impact service delivery to policyholders.
Facilitate the business continuity approach, testing and reporting, across all offices.
Regulatory responsibilities
Operational Resilience Senior Analyst - Key requirements
Insurance Qualifications. CBCI (Certificate of Business Continuity Institute) or equivalent Operational resilience, business continuity or operational risk experience, preferably in insurance.
Knowledge of global regulatory guidance as it applies to operational resilience
Prior experience of change projects and adoption of new processes.
Good organisational and communication skills
Good attention to detail
