Operations Accountant - Barton Upon Humber - £35k-£40k & quarterly bonus

Bejamin Edwards are recruiting for an Operations Accountant for an industry leader. As Operations Accountant, you will deliver timely and accurate operational financial data to the business, interrogate large amounts of data to gain insights into business process and performance, and protect the business assets through financial integrity.

The role of the Operations Accountant

• Review daily key reports and identify areas outside of tolerance
• Production of weekly manufacturing/transport pack
• Support in preparation of monthly financial commentary on volumes, manufacturing and material variance, fixed costs and site margin
• Weekly MUV/PPV/MPV analysis
• Direct and indirect labour analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of site/transport fixed asset register
• Product cost calculation and cost variance tracking
• Support in quarterly forecasts and annual budgets

The ideal candidate for the Operations Accountant

• Qualified/part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience of a recognised ERP system (preferably IFS)
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
