Our client, an independently owned industry leader and the second-largest producer of their kind, are keen to appoint an Operations Administrator to join their small team.

£26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Full time, office based, NG2

Mon - Fri

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain internal records in relation to freight and ancillary costs
  • Work with other departments to assist on any queries or issues
  • Input & process invoices and handle any queries that arise
  • Monitoring and recording of additional costs, raising debit notes and internal reporting documents
  • Report creation, interrogation and distribution
  • Liaison between suppliers, external service providers, customers and head office on all issues relating to operations department
  • Administrate and budget purchase orders - allocating freight and haulage costs

Key skills:

  • Previous admin experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Strong computer skills, with a focus on speed and a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload in accordance with commercial demands
  • Good inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Good problem-solving skills, and an ability and enthusiasm to fully investigate problems to a resolution
  • Excellent customer service skills, for both internal and external customers
  • High level of competency in collating data in Excel and report creating
