This role would be fantastic for a recent graduate, or someone with some coordinator experience who is keen to progress their career. Our client provides a learning environment where you can progress to new levels via qualifications, inhouse training or by undertaking professional/personal development.

Key functions of the role are:

  • Plan equipment restitution at gateways to ensure regional export demand and forecast oceanic repositioning allocations are achieved.
  • Effectively report empty available assets to facilitate export matchback targets.
  • Guide Carrier Haul restitution to support export demand forecast and enforce cost control of Merchant Haul empty pick-up and restitution on round trip gateway basis.
  • Provide weekly overdue list of asset type status reports to functionally accountable department for their action and follow up of any inventory integrity issues.
  • Exceptional handling of Restricted Use label container asset for sale or offhire.

The ideal candidate will need:

  • Ideally experience in a coordinator/logistics/scheduling role OR be a recent graduate
  • To work as part of a close team and independently as required.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure when required.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills.
