Time Appointments are working on behalf of an innovative international container transport and logistics service provider who are recruiting for an Operations Controller due to the growth of the business. This client is well respected in the industry with a reputation for providing customer-focused solutions, quality services and continual innovation.

The successful candidate will be provided with extensive opportunities, functional training programs and a great environment to support their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control, plan and monitor the export load
  • Deliver quality service to the customer and cost-effective utilisation of the approved depot port and terminal vendors through effective communication, co-ordination and management.
  • Provide weekly overdue list of asset type status reports to functionally accountable department for their action and follow up of any inventory integrity issues.
  • To be effective in the follow up of any root cause creating service issues with customer or queries within terminal control.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Work as part of a close team and independently as required
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure when required
  • Excel skills
  • Good communication skills
