Operations Coordinator
Salary £22,500 - £25,000
Location: Outskirts of Leeds - Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

Our automotive client is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their growing team. The role will involve acting as the link between the customer and the repair garages to ensure smooth communications between all parties. You will be liaising with the repair garages and keeping the customer updated and informed with regards to the progress of repairs, resolving customer queries and mitigating complaints. The role will also involve pulling together reporting and maintaining the internal CRM systems.

We are looking for someone customer orientated with a tenacious approach and strong problem-solving skills. We are open to experience but previous customer focused work experience is an advantage, as is an interest in cars/ automotive industry.

Duties include:

  • Chasing for information and updates from the repair network
  • Communicating updates with customers and ensuring they are informed of progress and time scales
  • Working with internal teams to minimise disruption to drivers
  • Managing the email inbox
  • Dealing with queries and complaints over the phone and via email
  • Updating the systems and pulling together reports
  • Escalating issues if required to ensure the best possible outcome for the customer

Requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience of working in a customer focused role - this could be in customer service, hospitality, retail or administration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • A customer focused approach
  • Good knowledge of MS Officer
  • An interest in cars or the motor industry is valuable
