Operations Executive

Our client is a leading global logistics provider. They are looking for a Freight Operations Executive to join their team. The Freight Operations Executive will be responsible for end-to-end control of all shipments coming into and out of the Roadfreight depot.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manifest daily export trailers and send related pre-advice
• Update collection and delivery status in a timely manner.
• Contacting hauliers
• Working with Warehouse and Transport teams to ensure smooth and efficient movement of all shipments.
• Customer Service - dealing with queries from customers, subcontractors and drivers and assist in their enquiries via phone and email

Skills & Experience

• Excellent customer service
• Experience working within a logistics background
• Ability to use freight management systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook experience
