We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Clients Operational Service team as a Freight Forwarding Operations Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the freight forwarding industry and contribute to a growing business.

Working within the Operations Service team, you will focus on all aspects of freight forwarding and deliver excellent operational service in line with Company guidelines, legislation, and standards

Operation Executive Role and Responsibiltes:

• Arrange and have oversight of export, import and UK domestic operations from start to finish whether this be AIR SEA or ROAD/COURIER.

• Investigate and plan most appropriate route for shipments

• Complete International Shipping and Customs Documentation Complete costing & billing for both import and export jobs

• Work in accordance with international regulations Maintain communication and control through all phases of the journey

• Work closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure deadlines are met

Personal Attributes:

Experience in Freight Forwarding essential
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Well organised and creative who has a positive enthusiasm and pragmatic approach Detail oriented with strong planning, organisational and analytical skills A motivated self-starter with a strong drive to support the company in its growth initiatives Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and in-house systems like Cargowise an advantage
