Operations Funding Manger
Our client, an established and successful training provider with over 20 years' experience, is currently seeking an Operations Funding Manager to join their Apprenticeships team. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Apprenticeship Department operationally
- Directly manage, coach and support a team of six Skills Coaches, both in-office and remotely
- Ensure staff understand their KPIs and targets, and effectively performance manage them
- Conduct staff reviews, assess workloads, and identify areas for improvement
- Optimise Skills Coaches to achieve sales targets, planning recruitment as needed
- Recruit and train new staff members
- Delegate or complete administrative tasks to support enrolment and new client setup
- Engage with stakeholders and senior leaders to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain quality and compliance across the division, serving as the first point of contact for Ofsted and ESFA
- Manage data collection, reporting, and funding processes effectively
- Monitor and process monthly withdrawals and BILs ensuring acceptable achievement rates
- Proven experience in operational management within the apprenticeship sector
- Experience coaching high-performing individuals or teams towards target achievement
- Experience managing remote teams
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good knowledge of funding rules, Ofsted, and ESFA requirements
- Experience managing data and funding within an educational environment (desirable)
- Ability to manage change and growth initiatives (desirable)
- Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (desirable)
- L5 Management Qualification
- Business Management qualification or equivalent experience advantageous
- GCSE Maths & English at minimum Grade B (or equivalent L2 qualification)
- 2 A-Levels or equivalent L3 Diploma
