SunPork is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple farm locations across the Goondiwindi, Darling Downs, and Western Downs regions in Queensland, Brisbane. About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Oversee multiple pig farm operations, ensuring productivity goals, financial targets, and health & safety standards are met
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing quality, efficiency, and operational processes
• Lead and develop culturally diverse teams, fostering a high-performance workplace culture
• Manage farm biosecurity, herd health, and animal welfare programs to meet regulatory and company standards
• Implement strategic business objectives while maintaining strong financial performance
• Engage with external stakeholders, including contract negotiations and compliance obligations
• Prepare and manage budgets, oversee capital expenditure projects, and track key performance metrics
• Ensure environmental and sustainability compliance, including waste management and regulatory adherence

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership experience in the pork or intensive animal production industry
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence teams at all levels
• Robust knowledge of herd health, feed nutrition, quality control, and farm biosecurity
• Ability to problem-solve and manage complex farm operations within strict timeframes
• Experience in financial and operational management, including budgeting and performance reporting
• Exceptional communication and people management skills, with experience leading diverse teams
• Passion for safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
