Do you have solid sea freight forwarding experience Perhaps a team leader or a senior forwarder looking to move into a supervisory role

This role will report to the company Director who heads up the branch, where you have full responsibility of the day-to-day running of the branch with an operations team of 10 staff, customer relationships, H&S & office maintenance etc...

This forwarder prides itself on being a positive & happy environment to work with a great reputation both within the local forwarding community & its customer base.

The Role:

You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing workflow / holiday requests, dealing & resolving any client issues, whilst ensuring great customer service is delivered at all times.

Your will be key in developing & mentoring staff and be the go-to person for most matters.

You’ll also be hands on with shipments, dealing with VIP accounts, whilst working closely with the director to improve processes etc...

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous freight forwarding experience
  • Previous supervisory / managerial experience
  • Customs procedures
  • Good IT knowledge

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established SME freight forwarder, local in Hedge End. Hours Monday to Friday, 9-5:30

Salary & Benefits:

Our client is looking to pay a competitive salary for the right candidate in the region of £45K, depending on experience. No formal dress code, team lunch every Friday.
