Operations Manager

  • Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
  • Location: RG20
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking an Operations and Logistics Manager to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing and sales order management, as well as knowledge of SAP Business One or similar systems.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
  • Ensure premises, assets, and communications are used effectively
  • Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize procedures
  • Process/Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials
  • Oversee the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction
  • Manage purchasing and sales order processes to ensure efficiency
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, hauliers, and consumers

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within operations and logistics
  • Experience with purchasing and sales order management
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One or a similar ERP system is highly preferable
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
