Operations Manager

I am seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations for a busy wholesale business I have partnered with in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staff management, cost-saving initiatives, logistics, and stock keeping. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing multiple projects and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

Day to day of the role as an Operations Manager:

• Develop and implement efficient operational processes and policies to maximise productivity and profitability.
• Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery and distribution of products.
• Manage stock levels effectively, ensuring optimal inventory turnover and minimising waste.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures across all areas of the business.
• Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Analyse operational data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other legal requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Operations Manager:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a wholesale and retail environment.
• Strong background in cost-saving strategies, logistics, and stock management.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated staff management and leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of operational and inventory management software.
