Murray Myers is pleased to be partnering with a Worcestershire based manufacturer to source an Operations Manager. As Operations Manager, you will become the main point of contact for all operational elements of the business, working closely with the Owner and other members of the senior management team to modernise, improve and enhance the company's overall processes.

The Company

Our client specialises in maximising the service performance of process plant and equipment. They offer a package of design, manufacture, protection and site installation of process plant equipment. Our client boasts an international customer base which requires them to operate to international standards of best practice within quality control, environmental and health and safety.

The Role

As Operations Manager you will:

  • Display strong leadership and drive commercial focus across the company
  • Lead on business operations, ensuring that standards and reporting functions are constantly high and efficient
  • Heavily involved in the day to day operational areas from workshop to back office
  • Work closely with senior management across operational set up and procedures implementation

Experience

  • Proven operational management experience within an engineering fabrication company
  • Strong commitment to process and operational procedure improvements
  • Ability to identify how value can be added
  • Mechanical understanding and industry knowledge
  • Understanding of site services
