An exciting business that’s expanding within the Defence Technology sector is looking for an Operations Administrator with global shipping and logistics knowledge.
The role will involve comprehensive support to the operations team and strong communication skills will be needed as you’ll be liaising directly with customers, the supply chain and internal stakeholders.

Hybrid working is available with 2 days a week in the office, and the company provides an excellent benefits package, an annual company performance bonus, and a range of wellbeing incentives.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Creating detailed project documentation, meticulously tracking progress, and proactively identifying any potential delays
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of bids and contribute to the development of competitive bid strategies
  • Managing and executing the completion of supplier framework and customer onboarding documentation
  • Managing the entire shipping process, from order through to delivery.
  • Ensuring smooth logistics by monitoring shipments, addressing any issues that arise, and maintaining accurate records
  • Overseeing the application for export licenses and export grading, collaborating closely with the sales teams
  • Providing general administrative and office support as needed.
We’re looking for:
  • Experience in global Shipping and Logistics
  • Experience of export control, duties and customs
  • Attention to detail and managing tasks to completion
  • Experience communicating with customers, supply chain, and internal stakeholders
  • Management expertise and experience of delivering bids in a defence environment would be desirable but not essential.
