Operations Supervisor

Our client, a fast-growing company in the trade-in and second-hand technology business, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join their dynamic UK team. Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multi-disciplined processing teams, ensuring their work results meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with management to plan work and labour requirements, optimising resource utilisation.
Generate and report key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the operations function, providing valuable insights to drive continuous improvement.
Analyse data and identify opportunities for process optimisation, implementing new processing standards to increase overall efficiency.
Support and guide team leaders, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
Identify and address training needs, working closely with HR to provide necessary training and mentorship.
Foster a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with management to introduce new equipment, systems, and procedures aimed at improving efficiency and reducing waste.
Promote a culture of change and continual improvement, inspiring the team to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse environment, ensuring the physical condition and cleanliness of the facility.
Support other areas of the organisation as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute beyond the scope of your department.
Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.

You should have:

Proven experience in a fast-paced management or leadership role, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges in real-time.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to effectively liaise with individuals at all levels.
A track record of successfully managing operations functions, driving operational excellence.
Experience implementing operational policies and procedures, ensuring consistent standards throughout the team.
Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to adapt to new technology platforms.
The ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
Demonstrated ability to challenge and correct inappropriate behaviour in a fair and constructive manner.
Comfortable with giving and receiving frequent feedback, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Effective multitasking skills, with the ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Flexibility to work overtime if required.

Hours of work 7.00am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 7.00am - 3.00pm Friday
