Operations Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Team Leader to work for a drinks manufacturing company based in Bradford.

The Production Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring that production goals are met efficiently while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. This position involves overseeing a team of operators and ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with company standards and regulations. A successful Production Team Leader not only motivates their team but also enforces policies and procedures to maintain an effective operation.
We are looking for someone who is Organised, motivated and can lead the production crew by liaising with relevant business functions to optimise the manufacturing process and deliver key performance objectives within the QCDSP framework and agreed timescales and costs.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential
* Experience of using manufacturing execution systems (MES)
* Experience of coaching and developing people
* Experience of managing a team
* 5S and CI/BIT trained (or equivalent NVQ qualification)
* Food Awareness and Hygiene certified
* Intermediate level PC skills (Microsoft Office)
* Planned and Autonomous Maintenance
* Good working knowledge of SAP reporting, planning activity at local level, material control

Desirable
* Basic Mechanical skills
* IOSH certified
* SAP knowledge
* ILM Level 2/3 qualification (minimum Level 2 for internal applicants)
