Oracle Database Administrator - Hybrid (central London)

An Oracle Database Administrator is required to join a Software Company who provides solutions for their clients in the insurance industry. With over 200 employees across the business and a solid technical team in place, they now require an experienced DBA to join their growing team to support the development of in-house application upgrades, troubleshooting databases and application problems.

You will oversee daily database administration, including tuning, troubleshooting, and applying scripts in test and production environments. Collaborate with development teams to design and architect solutions, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards. You'll develop and maintain comprehensive database documentation, stay current with industry trends, and recommend innovative enhancements.

Your role will also involve assisting in the design and modification of the Data Warehouse, enhancing in-house and third-party applications, and participating in Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery plans. You will have the opportunity to evolve and progression with a clear growth plan and training!

Essential Skills:

- SQL
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard
- Experience working as an Oracle DBA
- Analytical/problem solving skills
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Nice to have:

- ITIL4

- Oracle Data Safe

- Administrating SQL Server
