As an Energy & Infrastructure Debt Originator, you will be instrumental in originating and structuring junior debt and mezzanine debt transactions. You will identify opportunities, collaborate on deal structuring, and execute transactions that shape the financing landscape of energy and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with potential clients and partners to source debt opportunities in energy and infrastructure.
  • Work with internal teams to structure junior and mezzanine debt transactions, aligning with risk and return profiles.
  • Stay informed of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in energy and infrastructure finance.
  • Conduct due diligence, assess risks, financial viability, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, investors, and industry partners.
  • Oversee execution of debt transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor debt portfolio performance and provide optimization recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (advanced degrees or certifications a plus).
  • Proven experience in originating, sourcing, structuring, and executing junior debt/mezzanine debt transactions in energy and infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of energy and infrastructure finance, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional financial solutions.
  • Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements for debt transactions in this space.
