Orthopedic Scrub Nurse / Private High End Orthopedic Sports Clinic

Daytime Healthcare are partnering with a Private High End Orthopedic Sports Clinic in Central London who look after sports stars. They are recruiting for an experienced Scrub Nurse to join their surgical center in Central London. The company was founded in London by a group of leading Orthopaedic Surgeons and Radiologists, with a shared vision of building a worldwide center of excellence in musculoskeletal care.

Hours: 37/5 per week, 4 days per week-Monday-Friday (Days Only).

Scrub Nurse Job Role:

You will be responsible for the management and organisation of the Operating Department along with other staff. You will be part of a scrub team working closely with anaesthetic and recovery colleagues and reporting to the Theatre Manager.

Ideal Candidate:

• Registered Nurse/ODP
• Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in surgical practice including perioperative and Orthopaedic experience
• Evidence of clinical reasoning and sound decision-making skills across a varied patient case mix.
• Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to prioritise information and workload appropriately
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time, reacting quickly in an emergency when required
• Effective communicator with the ability to build professional relationships.
• Aware of developments within profession
• Able to work as part of a team within set boundaries
• Evidence of continuous professional development
• Flexible and adaptive to changing situations.
