Our client is a fast-growing asset manager specialising in global quantitative macro strategies, renowned for their unrivaled fund performance. With international offices, including their London location at the forefront of their expansion, they are seeking an experienced OTC Derivatives Middle Office Operations Analyst. In this role, you will act as the subject-matter expert and first point of contact for the Derivatives trading desk, working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment which is flat structured.

As a Middle Office Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire trade lifecycle for OTC derivatives, including cross currencies, repos, CDSs, IRSs, equity swaps, and options. You will serve as the first point of contact for traders, providing essential support for their trading activities and overseeing third-party administrators. This role involves managing the full trade lifecycle in a high-volume environment, predominantly straight-through processing (STP), while handling complex exceptions, investigations, and reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with the front office and third-party administrators on various middle office tasks, including reconciliation.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume, busy but rewarding and dynamic environment, focusing on macroeconomic strategies and investing in diverse asset classes such as equity, fixed income, FX, derivatives, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Although this role will support the OTC derivatives trading desks, you will also work with all operations teams to rebook trades across all asset classes.

To be considered, candidates will come from an OTC derivatives trade support background gained in either an investment manager, hedge fund, investment bank, or third-party administrator. As a member of the middle office team, you will take ownership of the full trade lifecycle, acting as the crucial link between the front office and third-party middle office administrators, ensuring efficient communication and seamless trade operations.

In return, our client offers a fast-paced, supportive, and collaborative team environment. Along with a highly competitive salary, hybrid working, and a generous bonus potential which is uncapped, they provide an enticing benefits package. Perks include complimentary breakfast and lunch when in the office, access to an in-house gym as well as subsidised external gym membership, recreational in-house facilities, and much more in their brand-new modern office space. This is an exciting place to work and to be a part of the continual expansion and growth.
