Pay - £11.44 per hour
Responsibilities:- Data Input: The Outpatients Booking Clerk will be responsible for accurately inputting incoming referrals into the Trust's system.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule outpatient appointments efficiently.
- Communication: Interact with patients, health care professionals, and administrative staff to ensure smooth booking processes.
- Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Adhere to Policies: Follow established protocols and guidelines for appointment booking and data management.
- Attention to Detail: Precise data entry skills are essential.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and appointments effectively.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using relevant software and databases.
- Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
- Confidentiality: Handle patient information with discretion.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability: Must be available to work on-site during weekdays.
