About the RoleAs an Outsourcing Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing a portfolio of clients within the entertainment sector, ensuring the highest level of client care and smooth department operations. This hands-on role requires building strong relationships with new and existing clients while supporting and developing a team of 9 bookkeepers.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage the workflow of the team, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Review VAT returns, management accounts, and other financial reports, ensuring adherence to filing deadlines.
- Collaborate with other department heads to achieve the firm’s expected turnaround of jobs.
- Work closely with the Partner to monitor and improve department processes and operations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing advice.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet all regulatory requirements.
- Assist with administrative duties as required by the firm.
- Train and mentor staff, review technical work, and identify training needs to develop staff.
- Motivate and support the development of the team and facilitate training sessions to enhance skills.
- Experience in managing client relationships and a team.
- Organised, proactive, and excellent at multitasking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Xero, Excel, and strong systems skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within an accountancy practice.
- ACCA or ACA qualification is ideal, but qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
