A leading Northwest London firm with over 15 partners is seeking an Outsourcing Manager to lead their thriving Business Management Department. If you have a passion for excellence, a knack for leadership, and enjoy the dynamics of a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role

As an Outsourcing Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing a portfolio of clients within the entertainment sector, ensuring the highest level of client care and smooth department operations. This hands-on role requires building strong relationships with new and existing clients while supporting and developing a team of 9 bookkeepers.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the workflow of the team, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Review VAT returns, management accounts, and other financial reports, ensuring adherence to filing deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to achieve the firm’s expected turnaround of jobs.
  • Work closely with the Partner to monitor and improve department processes and operations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing advice.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required by the firm.
  • Train and mentor staff, review technical work, and identify training needs to develop staff.
  • Motivate and support the development of the team and facilitate training sessions to enhance skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in managing client relationships and a team.
  • Organised, proactive, and excellent at multitasking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Xero, Excel, and strong systems skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within an accountancy practice.
  • ACCA or ACA qualification is ideal, but qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
