Overheating Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an Overheating specialist looking to develop and build their skills by joining a leading multidisciplined consultancy and working on projects within the construction and property industry.

The successful Overheating Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Using IES software to conduct thermal modelling, overheating, and thermal comfort analysis
  • Carry out Overheating and Part O assessments
  • Undertake energy assessments, statements, and modelling improvements for planning, whilst ensuring building designs are complying with Part L

The ideal Overheating Specialist will have:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience within a sustainability consultant role, with demonstratable experience with overheating analysis.
  • An educational background within an energy or sustainability discipline
  • Experience and competency with IES for overheating analysis that includes TM59 and TM52
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • It would be advantageous to be knowledgeable of UK building standards and regulations such as Part L
