Spencer Clarke Group are currently working alongside an award winning, and incredibly successful Accountancy Firm, who are recruiting for an Owner Managed Business Tax Manager to join their growing tax team. Our client is looking to recruit someone to be based at their Chesterfield office.

What does our client offer?

  • Core hours policy (7.5 hours per day, working between 08:00 and 18:00).
  • The ability to take up to two hours for lunch.

What does this role entail?

  • Review tax compliance for OMB clients, including corporation tax and income tax returns, P11Ds and ERS Returns.
  • Monitor tax deadlines for OMB clients.
  • Supporting the OMB clients with adhoc tax queries.
  • Deliver tax advisory projects for OMB clients, ranging from remuneration planning, share incentives and planning, property planning, reorganisations and transactional work (with support from senior tax colleagues).
  • Autonomously scope and deliver tax advisory projects to clients.
  • Manage tax compliance work for OMB clients on behalf of the Directors.
  • Play an important part in the operation of the OMB team.
  • Get involved in business development activities.


For this role you must have experience dealing with tax compliance and some advisory aspects, and have a desire to take the lead on planning and compliance assignments.
