AVK-SEG UK Ltd is a trusted leader in critical power systems, dedicated to delivering innovative and reliable solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Package Manager to join our team and take responsibility for leading Fire & Protection Systems projects.

As a Package Manager for Fire & Protection Systems, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of fire and protection system projects, from initial design to final installation and commissioning. You will collaborate closely with our client, engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of fire and protection system projects, including design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Oversee the design and engineering of fire and protection systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and selection of equipment and materials.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment throughout the project.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and proper project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing fire and protection system projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire and protection system design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools related to fire and protection system design and project management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to fire and protection systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
