Packaging Manager - Tonbridge (Office basedMonday to Friday 7.30am -4.30 pm)

Duties Include:

  • Responsibility for the overall business packaging, despatch and logistics department, staff management, KPI’s and continuous improvement.
  • Manage a team of 13 staff including Packaging Operators (with temporary staff) , Pickers and Despatch and Logistics Co-ordinator.
  • Working closely with other department managers you will manage and coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and packing of products for final despatch.
  • Develop, monitor, and report monthly on department key performance indicators.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the production and procurement team to forecast and manage packing materials and inventory stock levels.
  • Experience with Sage 200 or a similar ERP/MRP software is essential.
