Packaging Operators

The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting Packaging Operators to join our clients growing team based in the Baglan area.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £24,984.96 (inc Shift Allowance)

Hours of work: Full time: Rotating 2 shift pattern Mon-Fri 6-2 / 2-10

Role Summary:
To guarantee the correct operation of the packaging machinery in compliance with the working instructions and the safety guidelines. This position also offers progression opportunities to candidates who wish to progress with the company and to be rewarded for their hard work and commitment.

Role Responsibilities:

• To ensure items are packed following strict quality guidelines
• To stop and restart the machinery when needed
• To check the compliance between the product and the related data sheet
• To support the colleagues with daily tasks and workloads ensuring KPIs within the team / shift are met.
• To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift.
• To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to.
