Job Description

Working on a 2-shift rotation after some initial training, the person will be working as a Paint Plant General Operative.

Duties

• Selecting parts to be painted
• Following a set schedule
• Jigging and masking parts as set out in work instructions then hanging on paint plant
• Taking painted parts off the line
• Carrying out quality checks and inspection before packing as instructed
• Keeping the area clean tidy and organised.

Required knowledge, skills or experience

• This person must have at least 1 years’ experience of working on ideally a powder coat or wet paint plant
• Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential
• The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 5 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.

Location: Shildon

Hours of work: Dayshift/2 shift rotation

Monday - Thursday:

• 6:00am - 3:30 pm
• 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Friday:

• 6:00am - 12:30pm
• 12:30pm - 7:00pm

Rates of pay: £13.73
