Are you looking for a role to prepare fabricated parts for wet painting including drilling, fettling, filling, sanding, shot blasting, sealing, washing, cleaning degreasing and masking of components?

Are you able to use power tools for drilling?

Trainee Paint Prepper

Location - Marden, Kent

Salary - Negotiable

Hours - 39 hours per week

Opportunity for Overtime Available

Responsibilities for the role of Trainee Paint Prepper

  • Using power tools for drilling, grinding, and sanding component surfaces, training will be provided
  • Masking of threads and bores to protect from shot blast damage and paint ingress
  • Hanging components in an efficient manner for priming, painting, and baking
  • Day-to-day monitoring of the blast profiles

Skills and Experience for the role of Trainee Paint Prepper

  • Good hand-eye coordination
