Experience Bodyshop Vehicle Painter

  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (subject to experience)

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Painter to join our successful accident repair centre in Basingstoke. The ideal candidate will be able to perform paintwork repairs on a variety of motor vehicles with precision and efficiency, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship for total customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform high-quality paintwork repairs on various motor vehicles.
  • Work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain acute attention to detail to ensure the job is done right the first time.
  • Use colour-matching techniques to blend paint and create a perfect match.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and other prep work.
  • Apply primer, basecoat, and clear coat applications in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Painter, with a minimum of 2 years of painting experience.
  • A keen eye for colour and detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
