Role: Paint Technician

Salary: £40K-£45K OTE £55K

Area: Wigan

Ascend Talent is seeking a Paint Technician to join a prestige accident repair centre based in Huddersfiled. As a Paint Technician you will be responsible for all Prep, Paint & Polish aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.

Responsibilities: As a Paint Technician you will be responsible for;

  • Surface preparation, filling, sanding and cleaning surfaces
  • Unpacking, handling and preparing parts prior to paint
  • Minor Filler Jobs
  • Prepare and clean panels for priming.
  • Priming
  • Prepare Vehicles for paint
  • Polishing
  • Light to Medium repairs

Experience/ Skill:

  • Background of Paint Technician or Automotive Body Repair role
  • ATA or equivalent qualifications desirable.

Package:

  • Salary dependent on experience £40K-£45K OTE £55K
