Panel Beater Vacancy

Location: Derby
Salary: Up to £34,000 basic plus bonus
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm, Saturdays mornings on rota.

Are you looking to join a highly successful dealership in Derby? We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel beater to join our client's workshop in Derby.

Panel Beater role:

  • Replacing and repairing of panels; straightening and filling
  • Completing body alignment
  • Welding and bonding
  • Filler work, dent removal and pin pulling
  • Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reporting orally/in writing on general condition of vehicles with emphasis on customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Working in a manner consistent with the minimisation of lost, non-revenue and/ or diversionary time, recording all such time in an accurate and complete manner.
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy, well organised and safe from hazards to Health and Safety.

Requirements: Panel Beater

  • Have previous experience in Panel repair/replacement in a Bodyshop setting
  • Hold an ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3 equivalent.
  • Have welding experience
  • Be able to carry out large repairs
  • Demonstrate a positive, right first time attitude
  • Show a great team player mentality
  • Work to a very high standard and a high level of accuracy
  • Be aware of Health and Safety in the workplace.
