Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Control Panel Wireman to join one of our most renowned clients on an ongoing basis.

The role is based at their site in Sunderland. Because of the nature of work, we are looking for experienced candidates who can pick up the processes easily and get stuck in straight away.

The successful candidates must have:
  • Experience wiring and assembling control panels
  • The ability to accurately read and interpret
  • Experience doing point to point wiring checks
  • A strong understanding of safe working practices
  • Experience and understanding of mechanical processing and assembling

Required Qualifications:
  • Time Served Electrical Engineering & Electrical Craft Apprenticeship to City & Guilds Level 3
  • NVQ Level 3 - Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent Electrical/Wiring qualification
  • NICEIC Inspection & Testing certificate

Ideally you will also have the following:
  • Experience with Functional testing of Control Panels
  • Electrical testing & fault finding of Control Panel wiring & installations
  • Project wiring/Plant room installation experience
  • A strong understanding of lean manufacturing tools & techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Shifts: Monday to Friday (Days)
Hourly Rate: £16.71
