Our client is seeking an experience law graduate of conveyancing assistant to join their busy, thriving team based in the York region.

You will work alongside some extremely skilled conveyancing staff, assisting with transactions relating to new build properties.

This is an exciting role, busy and rewarding and would suit a candidate looking for a role offering great prospects and a long term future.

You will assist the legal team with all aspects of plot work to include (but not limited to) reservations, engrossments, filing, exchanges, title checks, completions, general legal office duties. You will not have your own caseload initially; however, you will work closely with other conveyancers to assist with their workload and cover during annual leave and sick leave.

Dealing with miscellaneous standard conveyancing matters (with supervision)

Dealing with post completion matters such as SDLT’s and land registration where necessary.

Assisting with lease/transfer variation and reversion sales

Assistant with recovery and retention (non-litigious)

Conducting work in relation to electronic identity checks

dealing with requests for certificates of compliance for management companies that have not yet been handed over and also with enquiries received from owners on historic sites.

Essential requirements - substantial legal experience

Hours are full time Monday to Friday

Salary is neg along with a yearly bonus, pension, free parking, health care and much more
