Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Paralegal within Planning / Highways in Grays. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• Dealing with Planning matters within the team particularly the submission of matters to the Planning inspectorate
• Preparation of electronic bundles of documents for Planning Inspectorate as per their checklist.
• Providing to support and assistance to Solicitors in the team including three fully remote Public Rights of Way locum Solicitors.
• Retrieval of paper files, searching for documentation on paper and electronic files, scanning.
• Drafting Orders and Notices.

The candidate:

• Experience and a sound knowledge of highways law
• Experience and a sound knowledge of planning law
• Experience doing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
• Experience doing planning enforcement notices and CLEUDs
• Preferably from a local authority background
