We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join the Commercial Property department in their Office based in Southampton

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of commercial property matters and be experienced in handling the administrative side of Commercial property cases.

General responsibilities in this role:

To provide legal assistance and administrative support to:

  • Commercial Property lawyers
  • Other fee earners as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • A good knowledge of all areas of Commercial Property matters
  • A good understanding of Commercial Property terminology
  • Experience in handling the administrative side of Commercial Property matters
  • A friendly and approachable nature with an enthusiastic approach to the job
  • The ability to communicate clearly/effectively in English
  • Confident meeting with clients and speaking to clients and other third parties
  • The ability to prioritise own workload
  • Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Good working knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct and Accounts Rules
