Location: Southend

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm

Salary: £23,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience

Reed Legal are delighted to be recruiting a Paralegal to work in house doing Conveyancing, Commercial Property and Property Litigation for a dynamic, successful Property Management company.

Description

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents related to property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Support the legal team in handling commercial property matters, including drafting and negotiating leases, managing property portfolios, and advising on property development projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents for property litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Support attorneys in court proceedings and manage case files.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on case progress, and address any legal inquiries.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide accurate and timely information to attorneys.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, manage calendars, and schedule appointments. Ensure all documentation is filed correctly and deadlines are met.

The Person

  • Minimum 1.5 years experience within either conveyancing, commercial property or property litigation
  • Law Degree and Masters or Paralegal qualification ideal but not essential
