Location: Hove

Salary: £38k - £45k DOE + Great benefit package

Hours: Full time Mon-Fri 9am - 17.30pm (hybrid 2 days office 3 days remote - after initial office training of 2 weeks.)

Are you looking for a new role as a Paraplanner within an organisation that values its staff and offers further study and career progression? Do you want to work for a reputable and expanding organisation that offers a friendly and professional working environment? If so, I have a great opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join my client’s well-established organisation partly based out of their Hove offices.

You will already have a proven background within an IFA/Wealth Management within an organisation as a Paraplanner and ideally be diploma level 4 qualified.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the financial advisers in pensions, mortgages, general insurance, tax, and investment management.
  • Preparing and maintaining client files.
  • Compiling financial plans.
  • Attending client meetings.
  • Preparing recommendations and comparisons for analysis by the planner.
  • Prepare suitability letters.
  • Complete application and proposal forms.
  • Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order.
  • Act as main point of contact for queries from clients and other parties.
  • Review investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile etc.
  • Carry out research and analyse products and services.
  • Propose and draft financial solutions to meet client’s goal and objectives.
  • Adhere to FCA rules and regulations.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Ideally level 4 diploma qualified.
  • Proven paraplanning experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of FCA rules and guidance.
  • Highly analytical and well organised.
  • Excellent IT skills and ideally knowledge of Intelligent Office.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
