My client is a Chartered independent financial advice business who have built a lasting reputation for providing the highest levels of advice on Pensions, Investments, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts, Mortgages and some Protections to clients across the UK. The business has c.20 Advisers and c.100 staff overall who work with over 1500 retirees, City professionals, families and professional sportsmen and women with varying levels of assets ranging from £100k - multiple millions. The business has very ambitious plans to expand and grow organically so if you're looking to join an entrepreneurial and forward thinking business then this will be the right career move for you.

The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role within the business for Paraplanner who is diploma qualified. The role will report into a dedicated Head of Paraplanning who I placed into his role 3 years ago. You will be supporting highly established Advisers who have been in the industry for many years. You will ideally have knowledge of Intelligent Office and preferably a number of platforms such as Aviva, Royal London, Prudential etc. If you have used FE Analytics or Cashcal this would be very advantageous, but full training will be provided.

My client are very open with regards to what they can offer a candidate career-wise. The role would be suitable for a Paraplanner who is level 4 diploma qualified and is looking to study towards Chartered status. If you aspire to progress to be a Financial Planner in 4 - 5 years' time then they can offer this route for you. The firm is growing following numerous recommendations and referrals so the there is a genuine route for the right candidate who shows promise to be advising. You will be undertaking all research, calculations and conducting end to end report writing. If you are experienced enough you can attend meetings with the Advisers and be genuinely involved in compiling the advice. The Directors are looking to offer between £42k - £45k basic salary depending on your experience levels. They would like someone to be office based to begin with but then you can WFH 3 days per week once you are established in the business. You can be based in either their City of London office or their Surrey office.
