Paraplanner
A small, well-established Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) business seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a firm that values expertise and professionalism.
Salary: £34,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hybrid working is on offer with 2 days in the office with opportunity as you progress in the role to work more days at home.
Main Duties:
- Client Data Management: Inputting and maintaining client data using our back-office system.
- Client Review Reports: Preparing comprehensive review reports, compiling various documents including valuations, for client meetings.
- Administrative Support: Sending off Letters of Authority and requesting existing plan details from providers.
- Product Research: Conducting detailed product research using a range of industry software for investments, pensions, mortgages, and protection products.
- Compliance: Producing compliant suitability reports and illustrations.
- Application Processing: Preparing and processing applications.
- Meeting Coordination: Arranging and scheduling client meetings.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintaining up-to-date product and general industry knowledge.
- Communication Records: Recording client communications accurately.
- Tax Calculations: Completing tax calculations where necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in IFA Paraplanning.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Intelliflo, Cashcalc, and FE Analytics is highly desirable.
