Paraplanner
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne to join a well-established Wealth Management firm who deal with high net worth private individuals and corporate clients. They have a strong presence in the area and are expanding their IFA services through growth across the North East.
They are actively seeking a Paraplanner to join their paraplanning team supporting their Financial Advisers. Their paraplanners provide research and analysis and quality written suitability reports to support the delivery of first-class holistic financial planning.
The successful applicant will be required to provide Paraplanning support, working within agreed business objectives.
The Role:
You would be expected to support advisers servicing existing clients by maintaining high standards in the delivery and implementation of financial planning advice.
Key Accountabilities:
• To provide technical and research support to the planners
• To assist the support team and compliance department when required
• Prepare suitability reports and summary of recommendations for processing team
• Question the planner’s recommendations if applicable
• Learn and maintain an understanding of firms centralised investment proposition
• Ensure client records are maintained correctly on IO
